dedication

Today was such a meaningful day for me in my spiritual journey. We participated in the parent-child dedication today our church, The Chapel at Elmwood. Here is a picture from the day. Silas was a ham and enjoyed "life" as usual, just laughing at whatever, playing with my necklace and bouncing like crazy. But more importantly, it solidified the purpose and desires of our hearts to acknowledge this gift from God and to publicly declare that we will raise him to know and love God. Having this child is more of an amazing experience than I ever dreamed! Each day I look at him, I realize more fully God's love for me. I am so blessed.
