turn down the radio

After being gone to a conference in Atlanta with our staff leadership team, I was RELIEVED to see MY BABES! I really missed Silas. It was the first time I was away from him for more than one night. I was away three nights! When I went to pick him up I was just so thrilled! He seemed to react similarly to any other day I pick him up from my mom's: happy at first and then preoccupied a few minutes later. That was ok. I was just happy to hold him. As we drove, Silas' coos and "words" were so sweet to my ears. We usually blast the music, but I turned it down because I had missed his babbling sooo much. It was the sweetest thing to my ears!
