sophia is here!

We welcomed Sophia Rose Stockton into our hearts and lives December 31, 2008 at 2:03 am, weighing 7 lb 8 oz and 20.5 in long. She's our dark-haired beauty with dainty fingers and long eyelashes! We are just so blessed!

Labor was quick - about 7 hrs total. We went in to the hospital Tuesday night after a check-up at my doctor. We had a great labor and delivery nurse who helped out tremendously! I only had to push 10 minutes, about 6 pushes! Sophia was a bit jaundice, so we had to stay an extra day, but she is doing well!

Sophia had her days and nights mixed up for a bit, but she is doing a little better each day. It's hard to believe she is 2 wks old already! Life is sure busy being a mom of TWO!
